Trainees and Experienced Wastewater Operators

The Upper Blue Sanitation District is seeking a highly motivated individual to be part of a successful professional team.

Salary Range:

• Operator I $63,669.38 - $79,586.72
• Operator II $75,245.63 – $90,526.28
• Operator III $79,876.13 - $108,237.94

Ideal candidates shall possess a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operations. A CDL class B or above with an N endorsement must be obtained within 6 months of hire. A State of Colorado Class D waste-water operators license shall be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Experienced operators should possess a strong operations and maintenance background, preferably with tertiary treatment, collections system operations and laboratory procedures. State certification is encouraged but not required.

Employee housing is available. Alternatively, a $600 monthly housing stipend is available for employees who own and occupy a primary residence in Summit County. This stipend does not apply to UBSD employee housing or private rental arrangements.
