Job Description

The industry leader for quality control and process optimization equipment utilized in the Power and Automation Industry is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician for their Westerville, Ohio repair center. This is a long-term contract position for an individual with solid electronic troubleshooting abilities and excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair activities with technical accuracy and thoroughness.

• Service and repair activities must be performed within established ISO certified policies and procedures and documented accordingly.

• Troubleshoot components at the component level using tools such as multi-meters, soldering irons, and oscilloscopes.

• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

• Work with pneumatics.

• Solder through-hole and surface mount components.

• Provide customer-facing service and repair directly with the customer.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in network support, computer repair, and OS restoration.

• Experience using calibration and electronic test equipment.

• Proficiency with general software knowledge including Windows 10, MS Word, and MS Excel.

• Ability to troubleshoot various electronic boards to component level and replace components including through-hole and surface mount to IPC-A-610 standards.

• Experience with troubleshooting tools such as voltmeters.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Vocational or trade school education.

• J-standard certification.

• Experience with SAP.

• Farm hand or military experience.

• Good mechanical skills.

• Experience with LabView programming and/or use of LabView programs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $29.00/hr.
